Highlights of the weekend:
- one of my favorite callers (Bob Isaccs),
- a classic band (the Rhythm Rollers from New England),
- enough great partners
to make me smile a lot,
- a couple of strong leads to make me feel like I do know how to waltz (and even Hambo!),
- friends old and new...
- and to top it off, on my 4.5 hour drive to the next stop on Sunday night (Gallup, NM), I had an oldies
radio station playing hits from 1972, the year I graduated from high school. All those songs that make my heart
swell up just added to the afterglow. Wow.
Now I'll check email and sleep - then drive on tomorrow to Amarillo, TX
(but not by morning :-) As I was driving, I was writing about the weekend in my head, so check back later
if you want more details. And hopefully some of those folks who were taking photos will share, since I never even
got my camera out of its pink-sock case...

I'm in the short purple dress dancing with Loren from Califoria.
He's one of my favorite swingers. (See the fast swing at the end.)
And his main squeeze Susan is an excellent dancer too. I got to know them
during the week-long Mendocino dance, which they help to run. Great people.
