A week of rest with Kate and Morrie

a.JPG
Ah, it felt like going home... keeping in mind that I have had lots of homes :-)
house1.JPG
This is the home of my good friends Kate and Morrie, in Hopkinton, MA.

And this is the back of that house.

And here's the view from the back deck. Yes, that is a small lake you see behind the trees. I particularly like the exposed boulders.

The red trumpet plant on the arch to the street recently bloomed.

This, of course, was a photo op.
house3b.JPG
Pretty nice, eh.

This shows the barn and Kate's garden, from which we enjoyed tomatoes and squash.

This is my favorite space in this lovely house: the sun room end of the kitchen.

And this is the kitchen, shot from the sunroom.

This portrait of Dylan (a grandson) was taken by his friend Bella...

... and then Dylan took this pic of Bella!

Dylan took this photo, and Kate and I agreed it's a great one.

They liked being in the top of my camper - of course. We also had fun swimming at a local lake.

Bella's cat Alphonse visited for the afternoon and I let the kids borrow my camera to try to capture its charm.
IMGP1771.JPG
They did a good job, I think.
IMGP1773.JPG
They called this one "cat yoga".
IMGP1773a.JPG
And this one too.
IMGP1774.JPG
I don't know where that flat circle on the back of his head came from, but they got a great shot of it!
IMGP1778.JPG
This shows its interesting markings.

Kate and Morrie and various friends have been working on this rubber band ball for a long time. I thought it deserved a portrait.
