This couple is Martha and Sol. Sol was our greeter when the three of us arrived at Pinewoods, and he turned out to be quite funny and lovely... and he rivals our TCD dancer Carl for having creative and though provoking T-shirts! |
The guy on the far left is from Denmark. Yes, he and his daughter came that far to dance at Pinewoods. There was another couple from Denmark and one from England, lots of NYC people and a few from the West Coast... but the vast majority were New Englanders. |
NEFFA T-shirts were abundant, but seldom so redundant. (NEFFA is New England Folk ?? Association, a long standing organization who put on a couple of HUGE dance weekends each year. The last time I went, I was a square dancer!) |
