Delaware Water Gap

I was talking to a friend right before I left VA to head to PA, and he realized I'd be passing near this geological (or would it be "geographical"?) wonder, so I decided to stop and take a look. It was worth the stop.

This was my favorite overlook, and the only one where the photos came out well enough to post :)

I felt small and awed as I looked up at these mountains, which were formed as the Delaware River cut through this rock. It's layered, like filo dough, and then seems to have been pushed upwards - my geology is weak, so I'm guessing.
