The bee wasn't there when I was setting up the shot, but I'm glad s/he showed up in time to be included.
My rule is to only shoot it like I find it, and sometimes that's pretty cool.
Now *this* is blue!
And for this one I broke my rule and brought the feather over to the shell.
A naturally occurring upper-case "D"!
And a lower-case "v".
I didn't realize there was green on this crab shell until just now.
This was a pretty white and brown which must've died of natural, i.e., non-sea gull, causes.
Another pure white.
I remember learning how to pull on some inside part to make the claw grab. Seashore biology.
We called these angel wings.
Amazingly cool that someone stepped on this and left it behind for me to find.
