The train went about 45 minutes down to Riverside, where the locomotive was moved to the other end for the return trip.
This is in the cab during the turn-around. Al chatted - but also did his job well.
And there were little side-windows. You can see the split in the rails.
And here we are after moving to the other track.
Now we've moved past the passenger cars and are ready to back up and reconnect.

What had been the back of the locomotive is now the front of the locomotive.
This was the only pic I got of the nice old waiting room at Riverside.
This classic caboose was used as a gift shop.
It was fun to be on the other side of the barrier :-)
