When I pulled up to the Coast Guard Station, I realized that I'd been here before. This is where we came to scatter my father-in-law's ashes many years ago.

The bright red, white and blue made me wonder if this might be why they are the colors chosen by some many countries for their flags.
I don't know if anyone can walk this widow's walk, but I wanted to.
A nice couple from France offered to take a photo of me at this overlook. The gray sock in my hand is my camera case :-)
Sun, wind, water... ahhh....
My shadow is longer than I am, and my hat looks cooler this way than for real.
This green Coleman chair has been great for beaches. And the little red backpack from Joellen is the perfect size, and easy to find on the walk-back.
This is a classic shot, and was a wonderful feeling. Like coming home.
Or is this one better?
The photo doesn't quite catch it, but there was something haunting about this driftwood, with the flag in the background.
The pattern of old waves has always made me feel happy, like a mountain range.
I tried to catch the power of the pull of that wave going out as the next one rolls in...
... but it's hard to do.
I like the way the curves converge.
How's this for a postcard shot?
My camera apparently "overloaded" on the sun behind this dune, making those pink vertical lines.
And here's the opposite direction's view.
And finally, the sideview. Nice dunes.
This photo is only interesting when it's really small. Then it looks like there's a ball of light at the end of the beach.
Do you see the seals?! I was so excited but the "locals" are clearly acucstomed to them, since they just smiled at me instead of looking at them :-)
Gotta take a shot of a gull and a dune.
And I took this picture because I have a strong memory of these plants (cranberry bushes?) all over the Cape.
