This spot is used as background in lots of movies and TV shows. Wikipedia has a long list.
Most of the other visitors just drove up, posed in front of the big rocks, and drove away, but there were some nice walking trails so I hung around for awhile. I was feeling a little protective of my right ankle, or I would've tried getting even higher on the rocks. One family with some small children were having a great time running up the inclines.. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
I saw these rocks from the interstate and then found out what they were called and drove by. |
