Stanford University, March 2009

This is one of the Rodin statues
in a group called the Burghers of Calais.

I liked his facial expression the most.

This is Dave, reading the descriptions.

Pretty arches....

... and closer.

Even the concrete was pretty.

This is one edge of Memorial Court.

We followed a trail of numbers, from 95 (or some such, since Stanford opened in 1891) to 09, clearly one for each graduating class.

Of course, this is the one I decided to photograph :-)

This is Stanford Memorial Church.

It's even more beautiful up close.

The works in the clock tower, which we never quite managed to watch in action.

I had to try the moon shot.

Twice. And then couldn't decide which one was better...

Serene looking place, isn't it?
