Yosemite in March (page 1 of 2)

I sort of captured the clouds on the mountains...

This was the best my little camera could do, for closeupping.

It started raining as we took the walk to the falls. Dave wanted a shot that showed the underside of the umbrella that his daughter had given him. Pretty good shot, eh?

My best waterfall shot.

You can tell it was cold: that's me wearing two sweaters and a coat!

A different waterfall...

Our attempt at self portraiture. Not bad: we got the waterfall but missed my chin.

I wanted to get both the waterfall and the tree scar.

That's El Capitan, behind Dave's car.

Ahhhh.

El Capitan from another angle.

I wanted the light cloud - and got it!

I liked how this tree fit the outline of the mountain.

We drove up toward Bridal Falls, but they had the road blocked.
Still, the long view was neat.

Looks a bit like the Blue Ridge Mountains, doesn't it?

We stopped to climb up this rock shelf and
I was struck by how red these little bushes are.

Compositionally interesting...
