South Jetty, near Florence, Oregon

Can you see how long the jetty was?

The white caps help me remember how *cold* it was out on the end of the jetty.

I didn't go all the way to the end;
here's where I stopped :-)

The view to the left...

... and looked out to sea.

A mile or so down the beach, I came to a creek/small river flowing into the ocean.

I liked the fractal nature of the sand cliffs.

There was a surprising amount of timber along the beach.

In some places, they made me think of huge bones.

This driftwood looked like an animal to me.

Maybe a bird? See the big eye?

Grey and blues.

And of course, I had to get a closeup...

... or two.

Since I had room for one more, here's a good cloud shot.
